Privacy policy

This policy explains what information our games collect, how it's used, and the choices you have. It covers every game Bobblebay Games publishes on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and this website.

Who we are

Bobblebay Games is the game studio of Ahmed Eldawy, an independent developer in the United States. For any question about this policy or your information, email hello@bobblebaygames.com.

The short version

  • Our games don't ask for your name, email address or other personal details, and there are no accounts to create.
  • Our games show ads from Google AdMob, and Google collects some information about your device to show and measure them.
  • Apple or Google process every purchase. We never see your payment details.

What stays on your device

Your progress, settings and unlocked items are saved on your phone or tablet, not sent to us. Deleting the game deletes them.

Ads

Our games show ads from Google AdMob. To show ads, measure how they perform, limit how often you see the same one, and prevent fraud, Google may collect:

  • your device's advertising ID (on iPhone and iPad, only if you allow tracking)
  • your IP address and the approximate location it reveals
  • details about your device and the game, such as model, operating system and language
  • how you interact with ads

Google uses this information under its own privacy policy and may process it in the United States and other countries. You can read how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

Your choices about ads

  • iPhone and iPad: ads are only personalized with your activity in other companies' apps if you choose Allow when the game asks. You can change this any time in Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking.
  • Android: you can delete or reset your advertising ID in your device settings (on most phones, Settings, Google, Ads).
  • European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland: the game asks for your consent before showing personalized ads, and you can change your choice in the game's settings.
  • You can also manage the ads Google shows you in My Ad Center.

If you turn personalized ads off, you'll still see ads, but they'll be based on things like the game you're playing and your general location.

Purchases

When you buy something in our games, Apple or Google processes the payment under their own terms and privacy policies. We only receive confirmation that the purchase happened, so the game can unlock it. We never receive your card number or billing details.

Statistics and crash reports

If you've agreed in your device settings to share information with app developers, Apple and Google may give us anonymous, combined statistics and crash reports. We use them to fix problems and improve our games.

Children

Our games are made for a general audience and aren't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.

Sharing

Apart from the ad and store services described above, we don't share information with anyone, unless the law requires it.

Keeping and deleting information

We don't store personal information on our own servers. If you email us, we keep your message and email address only as long as we need to help you.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, for example in the European Union, the United Kingdom or California, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how it's used. Email us and we'll respond within the time the law requires.

This website

This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or ads. Our hosting provider, GitHub, may log visitors' IP addresses for security.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll also mention it in our games or on this website.
